The Dalai Lama is not strong, not strong enough that it is for a politician, a "warrior." It has never been a Pope-like authority, at no time in history. The Buddhists are people from principles based on peace, men who made the life of peace. The Dalai Lama is a true spiritual leader and as such can not do much in these situations, it can not give up his office as he said, remains in office for life and beyond. It would resign if he could just play the Chinese, who hope for a violent people in revolt in order to use violence also apologized. After years of attempts by his government in exile to come to an agreement with China here is yet another outbreak, yet another guerrilla war. It is the dialogue that has always been denied, and now more than ever in this pool of blood fat, the Chinese are seeing in disarray and confusion, even skeptical about their own leaders. But the Tibetans in exile or not, have always fought for their freedom. I saw them cry, express and live in hardship displaced persons in Nepal. I've seen old men who survived fifty years ago with no fingers, mutilated by the Chinese just because they passed the Buddhist rosary in his hands. I saw people in distress selling authentic Tibetan handicrafts and fake, only to live. I have seen entrepreneurs get rich but with these markets, but unable to leave the country where they are refugees because it has been denied a passport, and then imprisoned not for the misery but for the selfishness of Chinese expansion. America has already taken initial steps to "moral sanction" China. But Europe is doing? See? It has to come from the west, through a blockade of credibility and diplomacy, a blow to China that could force them to actually open a table of agreements with the Tibetan government in exile. This is to have immediate answers, peaceful settlements immediately. And above all, that no politician or powerful to be allowed to shift blame Holy man who has always sought by way of peace and work a way to give back to Tibet a worthy economic and social conditions. Violence begets violence. Let each man take up his responsibility in this massacre of innocents.
